Do you think Michael Vick Deserves the 2009 Ed Block Courage Award?

Each year, the Ed Block Courage Awards honors those National Football League players who exemplify commitments to the principles of sportsmanship and courage. Recipients are selected by their teammates for team effort, as well as individual performance.

The Ed Block Courage Award recipient symbolizes professionalism, great strength and dedication. He is also a community role model.

I personally cannot believe they awared Michael Vick the award! Yes, he did come back and deal with adversity in which he created himself and he needed to be held accountable for his actions. But no way should he have be rewarded for his actions in this manner.

I must agree with you Gary. He is getting a chance to play in the NFL again and making a lot of money at it, this is his reward. I do not agree that he is by any means a role model!
